Meet Your Dungeon Master

& Why Players Stay at His Table

Professional GM, Dungeon Master, Game Master, Ned

Ned — known online as Nedrapter — is a full-time professional Game Master who has been running online D&D 5e campaigns since 2019. What began as a handful of weekly games during the pandemic has grown into Fantasy Lair: a dedicated table (and a lively player community) built around one thing — games that are worth showing up for, week after week.

Free online games can be fun, but most don’t last. GMs ghost. Groups splinter. Prep drops off after a month. Fantasy Lair is the opposite of that experience:

Reliability. Games run on a steady weekly schedule. Campaigns are built to last — some Fantasy Lair tables have been running for years.

A real homebrew world. Every campaign is set in Lands of Arda, Ned’s original setting — not a published module. Custom NPCs, custom mechanics, custom monsters, and a world that actually changes based on what your party does.

Professional prep. Paid VTT tools, custom maps, layered audio, and hand-crafted encounters. The production value matches the expectation of a paid session.

Fair, consequential play. No railroads. No plot armor. No pay-to-win. Your choices matter, your dice matter, and your character options stay balanced against the world.

A community, not a one-shot. Many Fantasy Lair players have stayed for multiple campaigns and multiple years. Communication lives on Discord, and the world’s lore is fully documented in a public wiki on Kanka so you can go as deep as you want.

If you’ve been looking for a table that takes the craft seriously — and a Dungeon Master who treats it as his profession, not a hobby — you’re in the right place.
